So, I went in to get my four year old son up from "Quiet Rest" time. (Now in fairness, he is four and a half) He had taken his book,
The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe with him to rest with. When I came in the room he was holding up his book, "reading" and looking at the pictures (so I thought.) He told me, "Well, I've been reading a lot of this book, but I'm only going to read two chapters." Now, I now that he can read quite well, but this shocks me. So I look, and he's at about page 21 or so, which is in the middle of the second chapter. I ask him, "Did you read all this?"
"Yeah." So, he proceeds to read me a few more lines, and as Emma bounces into the room, Caleb declares, "I can read this book."
Seriously?
